Interesting Websites

The Awkward Years Project.  This is directed to help give hope to kids who are going through those awkward years physiologically.  A time in their lives where they are teased or bullied, or even becoming insecure while looking in the mirror, they are surrounded by other teens/kids at their own various stages of blossoming.  We know how difficult it is for kids in this phase to "see the forest through the trees".  This before/after shows photos of happy, healthy adults holding photos from their own awkward years.  They're not alone, and all those grown ups telling them this season will pass finally won't feel so cliche.  Click here to go to their website.

Depression Description (with humor).  Warning this website has explicit language.  This is a blog written (and drawn) by a woman who has experienced at least one major depressive episode.  She's now writing about it in a funny and relatable way.  This could be a good resource for both a client and the client's spouse.  She describes her experience of onset and being entrenched in the symptomology.  Click here to go to her website.

Carl Jung.  October 22, 1959 the BBC aired an interview with Carl Jung.  This 39 minute interview was recorded in his home in Switzerland, and now thanks to the miracle of the internet we are able to watch this interview for free online.  Click here to go to the website.

Q & A on Binge Eating.  A blog on the PsychCentral website, this has links to other articles written in the field of eating disorders, binge eating, and relationships with food.  Click here to visit the website.

Zynny Me. A free online study group for California MFT exams - Facebook Page.  Click here to visit that page.
They also have an article about using Facebook to market your business!
